And everything to be used in Pneumatic conveying system. We now presents DustCommanderTM dust extraction system. The DustCommander range of Dust Control units are compact, completely self contained automatic vibra-clean fabric filters. Designed for process applications requiring air volume capacities in the range of 600M3/Hr. to 6,000M3/Hr. DC's can filter heavy dust burdens at a high filtration velocity and constant level of resistance. Collection efficiencies often exceed 99.99%. These units can operate for long periods without attention and need little maintenance. FEATURES OF DUSTCOMMANDER
UNITS.
APPLICATIONS. DustCommander units can be applied in every industry which handles and processes powdered or granulated materials or uses dust generating machinery. Examples include cement, pharmaceuticals, sugar, Chili and Tea. These type of dust filters are an integral part of our Pneumatic Conveying lines and we recommend their use in any give application. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION. The dust laden air is drawn through the inlet to the filter by the fan. Initially some pre separation takes place in the unit hopper where a baffle the heavier dust particles into the dust container below. Finer dust particles are carried up to the filter elements where they are retained on the outer surface of the filter fabric. The cleaned air passes through the filter fabric into the fan chamber and is then discharged. A periodic cleaning mechanism is automatically activated. The collected dust is dislodged from the filter elements and falls into the container below. FILTER MATERIALS. For the majority of applications a satin weave cotton cloth is used, giving a high filtration efficiency with low pressure drop. Other weaves and fabrics are available where special considerations apply. ELECTRIC MOTORS. Two
motors are supplied, one for the fan and one for the cleaning mechanism,
both being suitable for direct for direct on-line starting..
